And the countdown is on
It’s that time of year again. The time Australian’s are feverish to get their music hungry hands on 17,500 of the hottest tickets. With an amazing line-up, prices cheaper than last year and limited tickets, they were bound to get snapped up in record time. 43 minutes to be exact.
I was one of the very lucky ones to have access to presale tickets & nabbed 2, 3 day event tickets for my friend and I on the Tuesday before tickets went on sale to the general public. And come Friday I was very relieved I already had mine to gloat about.
Now with a giant sigh of relief I can begin the countdown to Splendour in the Grass. in less than 90 days i’ll be witnessing international and local acts such as Bloc Party, Jack White, The Gossip and the Smashing Pumpkins to artful songstress in Berti Blackman, Oz’s kings of HipHop the Hilltop Hoods, and Australia’s latest stolen treasure from our rello’s across the ditch, Kimbra. All in all the countdown to my 2nd Splendour is going to be a musical playlist of wonderment.
So if you see me krumping, swaying, fist pumping down the streets of Melbourne, don’t judge, join in and dance with me.
